Iniyaal's Naturals is a natural, integrated farm where coconut palms share the soil with turmeric, yam, ginger and native climbers — the way farms here were worked before chemical shortcuts. What comes off this land is pressed, not processed.
One field, many crops, no shortcuts.
Iniyaal's Naturals began as a coconut farm and grew into something closer to a small ecosystem. Rather than a single crop across every row, the land is shared: coconut palms overhead, and traditional intercrops — climbers, tubers, greens and beans — filling the ground beneath them.
This is how farms in this part of Namakkal District were worked for generations, before monocropping and chemical inputs became the norm. We've kept that method deliberately. It keeps the soil alive, gives the palms natural companions, and means the farm produces far more than just coconuts.
Traditional intercrops, planted the way this land has always been farmed.
A hardy climbing vine, traditionally trained up the coconut trunks.
An elephant-foot yam grown below ground, harvested by hand each season.
A native ginger variety associated with the Kolli Hills region.
Turmeric, grown in the shaded ground beneath the palm canopy.
A traditional leafy green, grown low and close to the soil.
A local banana variety planted along the field borders.
A hyacinth-bean variety trellised along the field edges.
The farm's founding crop — the palms every intercrop grows beneath.
From our farm to your family, without shortcuts.
| Feature | Regular market farming | Our natural farming |
|---|---|---|
| Soil care | Synthetic fertilisers like urea, which wear down soil health over time | Jeevamirtham, a traditional natural mixture that builds living soil |
| Drying | Sulphur smoke, used to dry coconut fast and hold off fungus | Solar dryers — no sulphur, no residue |
| Extraction | High-speed, high-heat steel machines that strip out nutrients | Traditional wood-pressed method, kept cool throughout |
From nut to bottle, made in small batches.
We feed the ground with Jeevamirtham, a fermented mix of cow dung, cow urine, jaggery, pulse flour and native soil, instead of synthetic fertiliser.
Coconuts are left to ripen fully and fall on their own — never pulled down early with poles or machines.
Fallen coconuts are collected, de-husked and broken open by hand to reach the fresh white meat.
The meat is dried into copra using solar dryers, never sulphur smoke, keeping it clean and residue-free.
Dried copra is slowly crushed with a wooden pestle, so the oil never heats up and keeps its natural aroma and nutrients.
The pressed oil settles naturally for a few days, then is bottled as is, with no chemical refining or bleaching.
Trust is earned by showing the work, not claiming it.
Come see for yourself. You're welcome to visit our farm on any day, without letting us know in advance, and walk through our fields to see our natural farming methods firsthand — even if we're not there at the time.
